I grew up just a couple of houses from Virgil. His sister Polly & I remain friends to this day. My mom & Virgil’s mom we’re also close friends as well. I was saddened to hear of his illness & passing. I didn’t see him very much after he left the neighborhood but he still took the time to take care of his mother & sister in the years that followed. My deepest condolences to his children & grand children. May you rest in the arms of the Lord Virgil. I’m sure your mom will be waiting for you with joy & happiness. Rest In Peace Virgil.

Primo,
You and Elsie were the sweetest couple. I remember the last time you and she were here. We went to eat , we had a great time. We left with the conversation that next time you guys came back it would be to stay. We will miss you both but you were both called home and now we must all keep you both in our hearts and close our eyes and remember in our memories. Bless you Primo, you will always be loved and remembered and in our thoughts and prayers.

To Punky’s family, May God help you and your family through your grieving at the loss of your dad and grandfather. May the memories of him help you at this time. At present you are shedding tears, in time you will smile when you think of him. God bless you and your family.

My Primo Virgil was a great Cousin. We were always close to each other, but in the last 15 or so years we grew so much closer. It was always a great pleasure when he would visit San Antonio, I always loved picking him up at the Airport. He was a warm and caring son to his Mom, my Tia Elvira and a wonderful brother to his sister Paula. He would visit my Parents almost every day when he came to town and always sent them gifts on their Birthdays! It breaks my Heart that he had to leave us so soon, but our Father in Heaven knew it was time to call him home. He is surely going to be missed, but he will live in my Heart for the rest of my life.

May perpetual light shine unto him and May he rest in peace. Sad to see you've gone home but our faith makes us believe you have earned your promised reward. You have earned your wings even if we were not ready. Until we meet again Primo.
