Virginia was an ear, a shoulder, and a laugh exactly when I needed them. Much peace and love to Virginia's family. May we all know it when we meet again in the cosmos.

So sorry to hear of the passing of Virginia. My visits to her galleries were always a moment of inspiration, peace & friendship, resulting in now having 2 homes that are filled largely with art chosen with her guidance. In 1999, Virginia was an inspiration & mentor in establishing our public gallery in Donalda, when she made available a large Lindoe collection for display for our opening season in 2000. Her presence will live on for me. She made art an important element in my life. My condolences to all, especially Alberta & Dwayne.

I still see Virginia running past our cabin to the main pier, going to get involved in the Regatta Weekend at Seba Beach, with a paddle in her hands and a twinkle in her eye. I see a Lady who always had a Smile and a Hello as big as the room or yard that she was in. I remember a Lady so proud of her children and grandchildren. I remember this lady named Virginia...Rest In Peace Dear Lady. My condolences to the family of this Mother, Grandmother, Sister and Aunt, from Lois Conger (nee Olson), one of the Olson Cabin Kids

To Virginia's Family,
I send my condolences in the loss of your mother/grandmother. I met Virginia when I was a very young girl. She and my father William (Bill) Feniak of Warpite, Alberta were cousins. I often heard of her artistic talents and on one occasion was given an ornament which she made. I treasured it for years. To hear now of Virginia's passing is very sad. I pray your fond memories of her bring you strength and comfort during this time deep sorrow. My thoughts are with you.
Deepest regards,
Barbara Johnston

Virginia was always right there.
She was a solid person, a statuesque woman who took time to share her knowledge and to advise young artists. She was an encouraging force in my life. I send love to her children. Eva

Sorry to hear about the passing of Virginia. I only met her a handful of times at art events or visiting her gallery, but she was unforgettable! Calgary would not be the same without her passion and dedication to supporting the arts. She made an impact. My visits to her gallery, especially in the early days left a lasting impression that certainly had impact on my career and choice to go into the arts. Thank you, Virginia! May you be at Peace. My thoughts go out to the family at this time.

Virginia was a great soul, honest, forthright, never willing to suffer much BS, got to love that ! Her love of art and people was true. She always worked hard at what she loved. I have missed her in the past few years.
After her art, her love for her family was always there.
Rest in peace Virginia, you deserve it. Condolences to the whole family.
