Virginia O'Brien Fortin

Virginia Fortin is someone I have and will always hold dear in my heart. I was her next-door neighbor, and she was like a second mother to me in someways. The countless memories that I have Of her, and times shared are a lifetimes treasure to me. How often we go through our lives, not realizing the impact we have had on others. Well, Virginia Fortin had a huge impact on my life and in a wonderful way. I could not imagine my childhood without her in it.... I have missed her over the years. And when I think of her, it puts a simple smile on my face.. I know I will see her again, but until then there will always be a place in my heart for Virginia Fortin, better known to me as Mrs. Fortin.. With love and the fondest of memories

Ginny was a staunch and generous supporter of St. Vincent´s College and its students. Her generosity allowed numerous aspiring nurses to achieve their goals. Ginny´s support of the College and its goals was admirable. Though she had her stubborn moments, I sincere enjoyed working with her.

So sorry to hear of your Mom's passing. May you find comfort that she is now in God's care.

We are so sorry for your loss. She was a very kind, wonderful woman. We will continue our prayers to help you get through this very difficult time.
