Virginia Fulghum Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on May 28, 2013.
SHREVEPORT, LA - A Celebration of Life service for Virginia "Jenny" Lee Williams Fulghum will be held at Hill Crest Memorial Funeral Home in Haughton, LA at10:00 am on Wednesday, May 29, 2013. Interment will follow at Hill Crest. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 28, 2013 at the funeral home.
Jenny was the beloved wife of Harold Ray Fulghum, Sr. who is waiting on her in Heaven. She was the daughter of Joseph Earl Williams and Lillye Mae Stamper Greenwood and little sister to Evelyn Williams. Jenny was born in Cleveland, OH on March 23, 1926 and peacefully passed away in her sleep on May 27, 2013. Jenny's family was her pride and joy and she treasured all of them.
She is survived by her daughter Rebecca "Becky" Lee Fulghum Reeves and husband Rod, son Hal Fulghum and wife Vicki, grandchildren Sara Fulghum, Dr. Rodney Reeves, Shelly Fulghum Windham and husband Joey, and Melanie Fulghum. Jenny was blessed to have four great-grandchildren whom she adored and who loved their Mamaw very much, Peyton and Parker Fulghum, Hannah Kate Windham and Hadleigh Fulghum. One of her favorite things to tell her Live Oak family was "My son says I am the matriarch of my family...and I AM!" She always encouraged her Live Oak family by saying "the eyes are the window to the soul and I see a beautiful soul." Around 5 am Monday, Jesus welcomed the eyes of our Mama's beautiful soul into Heaven. She is now with her honey and heavenly family for the ages. Yes his eye IS on the sparrow sweet mama and I know he watches you...and all of us. Special thanks to Dr. Borne and all the staff of Live Oak.
