GANN, Virginia A.– of Clio, age 75, died Friday, July 13, 2012 at McLaren in Flint. Memorial services will be 2 PM Tuesday, July 17, 2012 at the O'Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio. Pastor Larry Alverson officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday from 4-9 PM and Tuesday from 11 AM until time of services at 2 PM. Contributions may be made to the family. Virginia was born January 8, 1937 in Flint to the late Eli and Marie (Stamm) Wisniewski. She graduated from Sacred Heart Catholic School in Flint. Virginia was a strong woman, she moved from Colorado to Flint with 4 small children to start a new life. She put herself through nursing school and graduated from Mott College. Ultimately, she retired from McLaren Hospital. Virginia was a member of the Breakfast Club of Clio. She enjoyed flower and rock gardening, and was dedicated to her family and friends. Surviving are: children, Jeff (Roberta) Gann, Dave Gann, Lisa Waterman, Cindy Gann, Leonard Kusky, Samantha Rodriguez, all of Clio; 6 grandchildren, David II, Jesse, Madelyn, Angie (Mike), Shawn, Tracy; great granddaughter, Gwendolyn; sister, Marion Klebs; brothers, Art, Jimmy, Jerry, Leo, Bobby Wisniewski; and many other family. She was preceded in death by: son, Virgil; grandson, Eric; brothers, Johnny, Daniel and Mike. Special thanks to the Nursing Staff at McLaren Hospital for your extraordinary care.
