A year has passed, so quick it seems,
Just yesterday, I could hear you scream!
In time some say, the pain soon fades,
But without you mom, some of it stays.
Like things to come, I know you'll miss,
Things like Mud, giving her baby its first kiss.
At times I wish that you were still here,
Then I recall the nightmare you feared.
The one that brought you to your final days,
The one you and I battled in so many ways.
I remember the tears that you cried alone every night,
I remember the pain and why you gave up the fight.
How you called to our Lord to deliver you soon,
From the world you were living, the world alone in your room.
It leads me to now, and how happy you are,
The brightest twinkle above, I know you're my star.
You shine through my window, straight threw to my hearts,
And down deep inside I know we'll never part.
You are always with me everywhere I go,
I have your face, your charm, your wit, this I know.
Because you have taught me everything I will need,
To face life before me with courage and glee.
I will be your honor your legacy for years,
I will make sure your memory always reveres.
The love you gave freely, with no strings attached
The respect and generosity, without ever getting it back.
So often I'd judge, thinking you were too kind,
But since you have left me, I see I was just blind.
Every day of my life you spent as my teacher,
Often at times I could say even a preacher.
But never too much was any of it for me,
Because now, from your love, I am able to see.
That no matter what happens, or who does what to me?
The only thing that's important is that I am who God made me to be!
Your daughter who you gave life so many years ago,
The daughter who is most like you, this I know you know.
From now until forever I will do what you have taught,
From now until forever, you'll know your hard work paid off!

I love you so much mom,
Thank you for always being my hero!
Without you as my example I couldn't imagine where I'd be today. I am a Rock because you were a Mountain and with all of my friends who love you surrounding me and holding me up, it reminds me that I am right where I need to be, right here, solid, strong, confidant and surrounded with love and support. I'm exactly who you made me to be and I am happy mom because you gave me all the tools to succeed. I will eternally be grateful to you for being strong enough and brave enough to endure the endless task of parenting me. For never giving up, for always giving enough but most of all for not carrying me the whole so I could learn to walk.

Thank you again, Mom!
Celebrating your life!

And I hope you love the memorial page! EVERYONE loves it!

Until my aching eyes see you again! Muah!

Forever,
Your little Devil & Mud! :)

It has been one year. So many emotions. There is a great sense of peace in knowing I am part of you and you are part of me. Looking back, the happiest I have ever been has been in being your daughter. Thank you for all the love, the joy and the abundance of memories I have to share with others. We had so much fun. I love you Mom and I trust that you are finally at peace and smiling down at us along with both Grandma and Christ.

Your clone! LOL

Your spirit is forever implanted in my heart heart mom. Thank you for all of the wonderful moments we shared and all of the valuable lessons you taught me. Above all thank you for all the cherished memories you made with our precious Amanda. She misses you horribly and remembers you daily! You were her best friend and she cherishes every moment you two spent together and the wonderful time you took to cook with her, listen to her sing, shoot the breeze, and teach her your fabulous humor. We miss you dearly but praise God you're finally home! Jump in the line mom and keep dancing!

With deepest sympathy to the Graff family. There is a beautiful reminder to us at Psalm 46:1...."God is for us a refuge and strength, a help that is readily to be found during difficult times". May God provide the peace and comfort to get through the days ahead. You are in my thoughts.
