Virginia Jessie Hughes, 82, passed away on November 28, 2012. She was born on October 31, 1930 to Delphi and Ernest Flanagan in Gypsy Corner, Oklahoma. Mrs. Hughes had worked as a school bus driver for the Flour Bluff School District. She was preceded in death by her two loving husbands, Alvin Allen Coble, Jr. and Thomas Hunt Hughes.
Survivors include her brother, Harley (Karen) Flanagan; 4 daughters, Alice (Ken) Chapman, Jan (Henry) Moya, Betty Hughes, Della (Matt) Bryant; 3 sons, Frank (Janet) Coble, Thomas (Patty) Hughes, Buck (Ruby) Hughes; seventeen grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren and a special friend, Danny Kendrell. Jessie will be lovingly remembered and missed by her family and friends of Bill W.
Visitation will be held from ll:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m., Saturday, December 1, 2012. Funeral services will begin at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, December 1, 2012 at Cage-Mills Funeral Directors, 4901 Everhart Road, Corpus Christi, Texas. Interment to follow at Duncan Cemetery, 2500 Debra Lane, Corpus Christi, Texas. Pallbearers will be Buck Hughes, Henry Moya, Omar Zepeda, Javier Limones, Bart Standefer and Henry Moya, Sr.
