Virginia Karsa Obituary

Karsa, Virginia Helen 93, of Lake Station, Indiana, passed away November 14, 2012, in the care of her family. She was born in Gary Indiana, to the late Katherine and Klemenz Krusa. She was preceded by her husband Peter Karsa and her brother Edward Krusa. She is survived by those who will cherish her memory; by her son and daughter, Gregory and Judy Karsa; daughter and son, Sue and Kent Murrmann; grandchildren, Sarah, Christopher, Abigail, Elizabeth and James; and great-grandchildren, Gabriel, Brasen, Nicolas and Koen. She was a faithful and lifelong member of the St. Francis Xavier Altar and Rosary Sodality. Virginia died in Blacksburg, Virginia. Her funeral mass will be held at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, Lake Station, Indiana at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, December 15, 2012. The family wishes to thank the staff at the Good Samaritan Hospice and the Virginia Tech Adult Day Care Center for their loving and kind care given to Virginia these last seven months. In lieu of flowers, we ask you to send your memorials to these organizations. Arrangements by McCoy Funeral Home, Blacksburg.

I will miss grandma who had so much spunk until her very last days. I will always remember visiting her on our cross country trip! I'm so glad I said good-bye as she was a wonderful lady. Love to your family during these hard days.
