Virginia Couse Leavitt

Ginny is very much missed by my mother, Janice Couse Guild and me Claudia Guild Horner. My mom met Ginny later in life after her father, John Couse had written to Ginny. He had seen an article in his wife Marion's painting magazine about IE Couse and thought they night be distant cousins. After much correspondence, they figured out they were very distantly related. My mom Janice loved the southwest and came out to visit a number of times, maintaining a correspondence in between visits. She loved the following the development of the museum and will miss keeping in touch. Our sympathy and love to family and friends.

I'm so proud to have spent many summers as a little girl visiting my grandparents in Taos, NM and playing in the garden. I'm so happy my daughter's got to meet their great grandmother.
