Virginia McCoy Obituary
Virginia Escueta McCoy was born March 1, 1929 in Manila, Philippines to Vincente and Pauline Martines Escueta. She was one of ten children including 3 sisters and 6 brothers.
Virginia was a retired nurse and a member of the First Christian Church in Jacksonville. She loved God and family unconditionally and intensely with all her being.
Virginia was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Donald Howard McCoy and several brothers and sisters.
Surviving Virginia are her two sons, Neal and Melinda McCoy of Longview and Gary and Jan McGaughey of Jacksonville and her two daughters, Barbara and Greg Morgan of Tyler and Virginia and Chris Negrinelli of New York, four grandchildren, four great grandchildren and numerous brothers, sisters and other step children, family members and friends.
Pallbearers will be Gary McGaughey, Neal McCoy, Swayde McGaughey, Greg Morgan, Manuel Escueta and Charles Wilson.
A private burial will be held after services.
Donations may be made to East Texas Angel Network, 2802 Gilmer Road, Suite 1, Longview, TX 75604, Hospice of East Texas, 4111 University Blvd., Tyler, TX 75701 or the First Christian Church, 1920 Beaumont St., Jacksonville, TX 75766.

Neal, Gary, Barbara and all the family of Virginia McCoy. My very deepest and sincere condolences for each one of you as you go through the loss of your mother, grandmother and such a dear sweet loved one. I am praying daily for each of you to find the peace and comfort that God offers each of you. I know it will be hard for a very long time as you will miss your mom every minute of the day. I lost my mom in 2016 and I know the loss you are feeling but also the great comfort in knowing she is now in God's presence and she is whole once again. What a great feeling that is for a Christian to know God and His ever-present love. God bless each and every one of you and just know I am thinking of you and holding you in my daily prayers.
