Virginia Pacheco Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Jun. 2, 2025.
Virginia (Morrison) Pacheco passed away on May 17, 2025, at the age of 89 in Escondido, CA. Born on January 11, 1936, Virginia led a life marked by her quiet strength, loving nature, and unwavering faithfulness.

Virginia grew up on a farm in Artesia, New Mexico and spent her early years in education at Atoka Elementary School followed by Artesia High School. After dedicating her initial years to homemaking, she embarked on a career at Best Foods, Inc., Skippy Division, in Artesia, California, where she worked diligently for 30 years until her retirement.

A woman of many interests, Virginia was an avid crafter, painter, and seamstress. She cherished reading and looked forward to her weekend garage sale outings with friends, a testament to her love for community and camaraderie.

Virginia's legacy is carried on by her loving family, including her daughter Anita Myracle, son Michael Pacheco (Cheryl Pacheco, spouse), grandchildren Heather Parnell, Brennan Myracle, Robert Pacheco, and Sierra Andrews Pacheco, as well as her great-grandchildren Lily Pacheco, Coen Myracle, Hunter Myracle, and Annelise Clark. She is also survived by her former husband of 30+ years Robert Pacheco, daughter-in-law Maria Pacheco, cousin Sam Duran, and numerous nieces, nephews and relatives who found inspiration in her life. She was preceded in death by her parents Bennie and Jessie Morrison, siblings Francisco Morrison, Otillia Sosa, David Morrison, Helen Aguilar, Nancy Juarez, and Janie Bernard, as well as her son Robert David Pacheco and son-in-law Brian Myracle.

At this time, no services are planned. Virginia's family cherishes the privacy and memories they shared with her and wishes to celebrate her life in personal reflection.

A reflection of Virginia's life will be available in a photo presentation to those interested in viewing. A link will be provided once ready for publishing.

Sending love and prayers for comfort to all who love Virginia. Hearing her story from her daughter, Anita, makes me wish I got to meet this strong, dedicated and faithful woman. The stories live on in the hearts of those she loved as she forges a new chapter in her forever home with Jesus
