Virginia L. Scialla

Eatontown - Virginia Scialla, 91, of Eatontown, passed away on Sunday, June 20, 2021.

She was born and raised in Red Bank and lived most of her life at the Jersey Shore. She spent most of retirement living in Fort Pierce, Florida where she loved playing cards, shuffleboard and spending time at the pool.

She worked with her husband at his family's business, Freddie's Pizzeria in Asbury Park.

Her family is grateful to the staff at Jersey Shore Center for their care and support.

She was predeceased by her husband, Sam "Shadow" Scialla in 2010; her son, William Scialla in 2005; her parents, Cecil and Clara MacCloud; her siblings, Herbert and Donald MacCloud, Betty Pedersen, Cecilia Fessler, Evelyn Fountain and Nancy Citarella.

Surviving are her two daughters, Nancy and her husband Joseph Gallo and Sally Scialla; sister, Arlene and her husband Bill Shaw; 4 grandchildren, William and Thomas Scialla, Joseph and his wife Lindsey Gallo and Samantha Gallo. Also 5 great-grandchildren, Carolyn, William and Marcus Scialla and Joseph and Mila Gallo, as well as many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit on Friday, July 2, 2021 from 10 am to 11:30 am at the Fiore Funeral Home, 882 Broadway, West Long Branch. Graveside service will follow at 12 noon at Monmouth Memorial Park in Tinton Falls. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
