Virginia Sohn Obituary
On February 22, 2014; Virginia Pumphrey Sohn, of Linthicum and formerly of Glen Burnie; devoted mother of Carl Sohn and wife Carol, Nancy Schupple and husband Hank, Kathleen Gordon and husband Paul, Sr., Michael Sohn and wife Patricia, and Jennie Zucco and husband Keith; dear friend of Tony Gnacyk; loving sister of Leonora Gary and Katherine Gray; cherished grandmother of 9 and great-grandmother of 6. She was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, J. Carl Sohn; and two brothers, Louis and Robert Pumphrey. The family will receive visitors at Singleton Funeral & Cremation Services, P.A., 1 2nd Avenue SW (at Crain Highway) on Tuesday and Wednesday from 3-5 & 7-9 PM. A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, 11 AM, at Holy Trinity Catholic Church. Interment MD Veterans Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to Hospice of the Chesapeake, 90 Ritchie Highway, Pasadena, MD 21122. For further information, please visit www.singletonfuneralhome.com.
