Virginia STONEHOUSE Obituary

Born July 20 1945 in St. Paul, Mn. Passed away December 8 in Lancaster, California. She was a resident of the Antelope Valley for the past 50 years. Virginia was the daughter of Melvin Gorham and Grace (Rice) Gorham. She grew up in Mediapolis, Iowa and graduated from Mediapolis High School. She served in the U.S. Navy for one year. She worked for the U.S. Postal Service for 15 years,She enjoyed barbecues and cooking for her family, she loved going to the Horse Races, Oakland Raiders football, listening to country music, having yard sales, traveling to Iowa to visit family and friends, going to Laughlin, Nev. every year with her significant other. She was a loving, caring, and giving person. She will always be loved and be truly missed. She is survived by her two sons Todd and Travis Stonehouse, her brother Dale Gorham and her significant other Raymond Young, and many nephews and nieces. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband David Stonehouse and her sister Frances (Lee) Gerst. A memorial service will be held on a later date at Halley Olsen Murphy Funeral & Cremations in Lancaster.
