Virginia Josephine White

Virginia Josephine White, known affectionately as Ginny, passed away of natural causes on September 4, 2024, in Boise, ID at the age of 83. Ginny was born in New York City, NY. She worked as a teacher for many years, and in her retirement in Orofino, ID she actively volunteered in many organizations in the area. She also cherished spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren as often as possible. She is survived by Tom Francis (Brenda), Diane Winslow (Todd), and Leo Francis (Nikki). She was preceded in death by her husband of 38 years, Gordon White, and her parents Henry and Centa Moest. Ginny and Gordon shared their home and their deep faith in Jesus with everyone they knew. Their mountain home was a special place for anyone who visited. The family will celebrate the lives of Ginny and Gordon in their hometown of Orofino, ID at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or the Alzheimer's Association, Greater Idaho Chapter, on behalf of Ginny and Gordon.
