Vivian D Larson

Vivian D. Larson (nee Hoffman), 91, of Kettle River, went to her heavenly home on August 20th to be with her husband LaVerne Larson, father Sylvester and Mother Edith Hoffman (Larson), infant sister Faith, twin brother Vince Hoffman, sister Kathleen Knuth (Dwight) and grandson Sky Sunday (Susan Larson).

Born in 1934, she married her childhood sweetheart Verne and they moved from their home in Kiev, ND to Kettle River, MN in search of more fertile lands and to start a family. A loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great-great grandmother and accomplished watercolor artist.

Her favorite things were hosting the entire family at "The Farm", and baking "Grandma Bread" a recipe that has become somewhat of a legend among those in the family.

She is survived by her brothers: Larry (Dawna) Hoffman, Lynn (Ellen)Hoffman, Roger (Arlene) Hoffman, and Mike (Pam) Hoffman and her children: Amy (Bob) Anderson, Steven Larson, Susan Larson, Mark (Deb)Larson, Keith (Linda) Larson. Greg (Janet Carl) Larson, numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.

Services and celebration of her life will be held on Friday, September 5th at the Moose Lake Covenant Church. Visitation will be from 9-11, service starting at 11. Luncheon to be had afterwards.
