St Johns - Vivienne Joyce Daum (née Fogden), aged 89, passed away on July 9, 2024, in St Johns, Florida. Born on December 10, 1934, in Otaki, New Zealand, Vivienne dedicated her life to nurturing and caring for others, both through her profession and in her personal life.

Vivienne began her education at Otaki Primary School, progressing to Otaki College, and eventually pursued a career in nursing. Her compassion and dedication led her to specialize as a maternity nurse, a role in which she excelled and found great joy. After her years in nursing, she embraced the role of a homemaker, providing a loving and supportive environment for her family.

Vivienne's life was marked by her unwavering dedication to her family and the community. She was a loving mother, wife, grandmother, and great-grandmother, always prioritizing the needs of others above her own. Her home was a hub of warmth, often filled with the aroma of freshly baked cookies, a treat she lovingly prepared for neighbors and friends.

Her interests extended beyond her family life; Vivienne was an avid and accomplished golfer with a short game envied by all that played with her. She had three holes in one and matched or broke par several times. She enjoyed biking with her friends Wendy and Jan, riding many miles together. She participated in water aerobics, earned several teaching certifications and taught classes in Burlington Vermont and the Jacksonville Florida area into her late 70's.

Vivienne is survived by her husband, Dr Lawrence Daum; son, Alec McIntosh and his wife, Grace; grandsons, Brice and Blake McIntosh; great-granddaughter, Juniper McIntosh, daughter in law Elizabeth Hale; stepchildren, Susan Lubeznik, Robert Daum, and Stephen Daum; son in law Frederick Fajardo. She was predeceased by her parents, Joseph and Leah Fogden, her first husband Lachlan McIntosh and her siblings, Ngairi, Bruce, Trevor, Audrey, Beryl, Phyllis, June, and Ashley.

Vivienne's legacy of love, care, and community spirit will be cherished and remembered by all who knew her. Her life exemplifies the profound impact of nurturing relationships and community bonds. She will be deeply missed, leaving behind a legacy of love and selflessness that will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to know her.
