Vocata George

I didn´t hear of avocado`s death until recently. But I hope the family is still looking at Messages here I want to acknowledge and witness to the fact that she had a profound effect in my life. I was her analysand for a number of years during a very difficult period in my life and found her ability to help me to unpack my dreams, particularly helpful. She was gifted and creative and just flat out fun to be with and I am so grateful for having been able to work with her and experience her giftedness. She had an impact on my life for which I will be eternally grateful. Sister Donna.

Vocata George was an artist in every way. She brought her empathy into the room as she sat in her chair and opened her book, then as she looked up at me, a smile would radiate throughout the room. She loved her profession and accepted it as her calling. I am sure there are many whose lives were changed by her gifts. I am certainly one of them and happily called her last year on Mother's Day to tell her how much those years with her had meant to me. She sadly said that because of her failing memory she didn't remember me. I said that it was fine -- because I still remembered her and what those years and she had meant to me. She thanked me for calling and telling her that. I thanked her for everything she did. I am glad I heard her voice and we said our own good-byes in the ways we could. It was just one of the lessons in life she gave me.

Dr. Vocata George was a profound healing presence to me as an analyst who then became a friend. She was the wisest woman I´ve ever had the privilege to meet and know. Vocata helped to save and heal my life. Godspeed to her as she continues on in her soul journey amongst the stars. And may love and peace help bring healing to her family & friends who will dearly miss her.
