As Dr. Baucham would say "I don´t write the mail, I just deliver it." Voddie was the best deliverer I had the blessing of discovering, listening and learning from. His videos were and still are a learning tool for me as a wife, mother and most importantly as a child of God. Job well done Mr. Bauchman, I imagine your rewards in heaven are abundant. Praying for the family!

Baucham pastored churches in Texas, taught widely, and became known for clear, unapologetic biblical teaching. In 2015, he moved with his family to Zambia, where he served as the founding Dean of Theology at African Christian University.
He returned to the United States in 2024 to help establish Founders Seminary in Cape Coral, Florida. When Founders Seminary opened in August 2025, Baucham was introduced as its founding president.
His books include "Family Driven Faith," "Expository Apologetics," and "Fault Lines," which topped Christian bestseller lists after its 2021 release. He wrote and spoke extensively on Scripture's authority, the Christian family, and discipleship.

I am so happy that I got a chance to hear him, he became my pastor in my heart, he didn´t run from any subject, I will miss him so very much but God wanted him more he had done his work on earth it was his time to rest, I will miss him greatly however his sermons are online his beliefs are still here, as he once said that the gospel of Jesus Christ was enough, it´s still is enough, I truly thank his wife and family for allowing us to hear him and letting the Lord use him in ways that kept him from being home. His legacy is in the many sermons that he preached and his love for his wife and children.

I will always remember Voddie saying "If you can't say Amen, you gotta say ouch!" And that was so true! The Lord really spoke to me through Voddie and I am so glad we can still listen to his messages. What a blessing he was to his congregants. I am lifting his wife and family up to the Lord in prayer for comfort and tender care. Voddie is safely home!

This man helped me and we never met. I am so broken hearted to hear that he’s no longer with us but I know his words will live with us until Jesus returns. Pastor Voddie came to me through YouTube, after praying for God to show me someone I could trust to tell me the truth. I can’t thank him enough. God bless his family and may he rest in peace until Jesus returns for his elect.

First, we lose pastor John MacArthur and now pastor voddie Baucham two of the most influential pastors in my life. I learned so much from their teachings.
Especially since they taught right out of the Bible, which is rare to find pastors that do that These days. This was a shock and hit me hard. But I pray for his family, and the rest of his congregation.
You are in my prayers, always
And thank you, pastor for all your wisdom and teachings over the years.

Voddies choice to serve the Lord help me navigate my own relationship with God. He was the most genuine and gracious man I have had the pleasure to meet. I thank God for His providence in doing a good work in Voddie. I am so happy he's exactly where he wants to be! I am sad I will never hear anything new from him. God please help us all thank you for your good and faithful servant. Never met him heard him on TV once after a recommendation from a friend. Impressed with his powerful presentation and baritone voice and his brilliance. I am so sorry he passed away leaving his wife and nine children. I don't know if I agree with everything he preached or taught but it seemed like the 98% that I'm aware of I could certainly agree with that in terms of Christianity and the role of place in life. May God have taken voting song with him to heaven to be with other like-minded believers who have passed into eternity. Thank you for his service Lord on this Earth and the value he imparted through all her know him. What a Mighty witness for Christ amen

I never met Brother Voddie, but his ministry impacted me enough that I cried at his passing. Never before had I cried at the passing of someone I never knew, but I felt like I knew Pastor Voddie. His teachings shaped me as I grew into my newfound Christian faith starting in 2021. I found myself listening to hours and hours and hours of his teachings, reading his books, and appreciating his ability to divide the word of God in a way I can only hope to someday do. It was while listening to a sermon he gave that I felt the Lord impress on me that I was called to the ministry. I pray for his wife and his children and for the church as a whole at the loss of one of the giants of our faith in the modern day.

Voddie Baucham - The man of God I most enjoyed watching and listening to. My wife & I were blessed to sit under his teaching at The Cove in Asheville, NC, in June of 2022. I was blessed to have Voddie autograph a copy of his best-selling book 'Fault Lines' for both me & a friend. We all will miss you here on this earth, Dr. Baucham. We will see you in heaven, sir. To your bride, children, other relatives & friends, I remind you that "we do not want you to be uninformed about those who are asleep, so that you will not grieve as do the rest who have no hope. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so God will bring with Him those who have fallen asleep in Jesus." 1 Thessalonians 4:13-14

My heart was broken over this sad news. I had "happened upon" a sermon of his on YouTube only 2 days before his passing. I´d never heard of him before, but I was so moved by his passion for others and love of Jesus that was on display in that video that I watched 5 others over that 2 day period. Then, while watching Glenn Beck, I learned through his tears, of the loss of his dear friend. I so wish I had known of Dr. Baucham earlier, but I´ll continue listening to his powerful sermons on line.

Praying for you, Bridget & your 9 children to be held together (Col 1.17) as I was when my father turned 57 two months before he went Home on Christmas Eve morning, unexpectedly, like Voddie. Thankful for Voddie's unapologetic defense of marriage and family and biblical masculinity as God ordained them for our good & His glory. So looking forward to meeting him and you all and see "all the sad things become untrue" as Tolkien said because of our Lord Jesus Christ. Love & prayers from east TN

Pastor Voddie was a wonderful pastor and teacher and leader to me though I never met him. I praise God Almighty in Jesus holy name that I was blessed through his labor for the kingdom of our Lord. Can't wait to meet you someday face to face in our Lords presence and thank you for the cool drink of water! Bless her Lord and we do thank you so that you give us life eternal! Your mercy endures forever!

Franklin and Barbara Callaway came to know Voddie and Bridgett Baucham while Franklin attended Houston Baptist University. They both graduated in August of 1992 with Bachelor Degrees. Franklin was much older than Voddie and was like a guiding dad to Voddie as he came to faith. We have lost touch as life changed for both and Franklin has missed the spirited conversations with Voddie. God places us where He needs us for times.
Our heartfelt condolences and prayers for Bridget and the family.

Having children after being raised in the modern American church and both not even being saved until years later, we knew something had to be in God's Word about being the spiritual leader in the home. A quick Google search brought us to "Family Shepherds" and "Family Driven Faith" and "What He Must Be... ", and all of Voddie's compiled scripture and interpretation for the modern era resounded deeply in the soul. We frequently share Voddie's books with other men who are struggling with raising children. God's Word does not return void and we WILL find Him if we search for Him with all our hearts. Voddie Baucham spoke to all levels of academia, and although he was highly educated, he was perfectly relatable to even myself, whom i consider in jest a 'meathead'. Perfectly concise. Our children, even at the youngest ages, sat attentively through his recorded sermons. The Holy Spirit gave him a remarkable gift of ministry, and the Lord used him to help us so much, there are no words to describe it. This news makes us feel abandoned on earth to very few men who will steer the Christian culture back to God's Word. "We would rather have our children be saved and miserable than happy and going to hell" is a quote from Voddie we often ruminate on. But our children aren't miserable is the thing. They are joyful living testimonies to the power of scripture. And we owe this to the Holy Spirit sending us the words of this man who is blessedly in the presence of our Lord and Savior now. May Voddie's legacy be alive in those young men Bridget is still raising, and in his recorded words and writings for many more men to rise up and stand against the culture to remind us that we are Christians foremost and then Americans. Our allegiance is not to political figures, policies, platforms , or cultures. But to the Lord of Hosts, Jesus Christ. All that is needed for life is found in His Word. Jasmine, you are blessed in extraordinary ways to have been his baby girl. May God give you all comfort and help. Know that you do not mourn alone. We didnt know him, but we didnt have to to be eternally effected by your father.

Voddie's ministry gave me so much confidence when we began our homeschooling journey nearly 20 years ago. We were so inspired and helped by his DVD's, The Children of Caesar. Through the years, we've shared them with many people and they are linked to on my blog. It was a joy to hear him in person a few times when he was visiting our area at a church or at the homeschool convention. May God comfort and help his family during this most difficult time.

I never met you, but your ministry impacted my life so much. When I saw the news on Thursday, I just broke down in tears. I had just listened to your sermon on Charlie Kirk earlier that day. I remember when you were unwell in 2021. At that time I had an Instagram account and followed your recovery. I just admired you so much -- equal parts humour, intellect and boldness in preaching the Word of God, especially in the Black community where we need it most.
Rest in the Saviour's arms. I am so sad you didn't make it to Manitoba, Canada after all, but God knows best. I don't believe the rumour that you are "no more. Because though I die, I will rise with Christ. It will not be the end of me because Christ is raised, and I too will be raised with Christ." My sincerest sympathy to the Baucham family. Thank you, God for having granted Brother Baucham another four years on this here earth.

We met Voddie in Aberdeen, MS at a Highschool gym. He helped us make many family decisions based upon the the Word of God. He was a man of God´s Word which is what we need today more than ever. He spoke truth and always had no fear to speak God´s Word. We still listen to him 13 years later from our handshake and talk. You will be missed but every teaching and preaching will never go away. We will share just as you shared with us. We will cover your family in prayer and we will see you again Brother. To God be All Glory.

I was so heartbroken to hear the news . He was one of my favorite expository Pastors . I loved hearing him preach the gospel message. Praying the Lord to wrap his loving arms around the family during this sad time and difficult time . May our Good Good Father bless you and keep you until we are all reunited again

My prayers to the beautiful family and friends.
Thank Pastor Voddie for your bold preaching. I never met you in person but, I know without doubt I one day will. You were the vehicle God used to save my life. Your truth of God's Holy Word just amplified. Hallelujah!

My mother, Anna DiGiulio, sends her heartfelt condolences to Bridget & family. When I told her Voddie had passed, she said, "I am sure your father found Voddie in heaven and they are catching up." My dad passed in 2020. You all were my parent´s neighbors on Audubon Park drive in Spring. Rest in peace, Voddie.
