Kazys Nasvytis
April 6, 2024
Of all the Nasvytis families ,we were closest to our Cleveland family,
Uncle V was the youngest brother of my Late father Kazys Nasvytis, Uncle V was the last of the brothers and last of that generation ! They are at peace and all together at home once again. All are always loved and missed, I am grateful for all the times and memories that were shared together growing up.
They would come up to Canada and visit often ,as we would visit in Cleveland.
I remember he taught me to shave at the house on 1234 West blvd.
He and Kazys would often take each others cars out for a test spin , to see whats under the hood, which as young kids we loved haha Probably were our love of performance cars started . He and dad would discuss stocks and world events etc and have spirited debates, again why I still trade stocks.
He was always upbeat, and when I called to say I was coming to visit, he would say bring me a bottle of Canadian whisky. I would, and we would enjoy , not sure how happy Aunt Militia was always about this. He ialso taught us to play chess, Im not bad but he was a master, Once I went to the Parama credit union in Toronto to make a deposit, when the teller saw my name ,he asked do you have an Uncle Vitus ,I replied why yes , he said I was playing chess against him in Buffalo on the weekend,, Small world , xoxo Love you all
