Bruce, one of the funniest- a best friend at Midland High School, at TCU, at UT, and then in Juneau .... I always think of him around this time of year because one Spring day when we were about to take a test in English class, I mumbled a question about the date - he replied, with a loud and deep Texas draw, 5-5-55, dummy! The entire class, including the teacher, broke up! Great friendship, Phillip Hubbard

Very sorry to hear about Bruce, sounds like you two had the life you wanted and enjoyed it. Marlee used to babysit for Christy and Mike when we lived on Lena Loop down the road from you.
Blessings to you Lee and family.

Bruce helped me get my first job in Juneau in 1966 at R&A in Labor. Always a pleasure to encounter around town. And what a fascinating life. God Bless.

Years ago I worked in "secretary's row" at Sealaska Corporation. Mr Monroe did business with Sealaska as an attorney. Whenever he would come to our office - he always had time to stop at our row and had a joke or story to share (we jokingly laughed amongst ourselves that he always had time for us peons)!! He was all business and yet he had a down to earth side. RIP Mr Monroe. I know you're sharing a joke with friends in Heaven.
