W. PHILIP FOSNOUGH, 61, of Decatur, died Tuesday, April 22, 2008, at Miller's Merry Manor, Fort Wayne. He was born on Feb. 15, 1947, in Marion. He was owner operator of Midwest Surplus Store and also worked at Montgomery Wards in sales and Gleave Construction. He was a musician with Daze rock band. Surviving are his wife, Sherry Fosnough of Decatur; mother, Margaret C. Fosnough of Marion; son, Aaron F. Fosnough of Decatur; daughter, Abigail M. Fosnough of Clermont, Fla.; brothers, Robert Fosnough of Knox, Ind. and Michael Fosnough of Marion; two nephews; and one niece. Funeral service is 2 p.m. Monday at Elzey-Patterson-Rodak Home For Funerals, 6810 Old Trail Road, Fort Wayne, with visitation one hour prior. Visitation also from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Burial in Prairie Grove Cemetery. Memorials to Heartland Hospice.

I am so sorry for your loss. I will always remember when Phil gave us a tee-shirt after 9-11 with the flag or a meaning with red,white,blue. My thoughts go out to Aaron and Abbey. I loved working with you guys. My thoughts and prayers are with your family.

Aaron and Abigail,
Just wanted you to know, I will keep you and your families in my prayers during this difficult time. I really didn't know your father very well but I do know that he raised two terrific children. Just wanted to express my my codolences.
