Mr. Gurley was my German teacher in the early 90s. Such a nice person and patient teacher. My thoughts are with your family at this difficult time.

I had the pleasure of knowing and working with Ray for many years at Mt. Lebanon High School. His wonderful sense of humor and cheerful personality always brought smiles to the faces of those of us who were his colleagues.
My deepest sympathy to Ray's family.

One of the most influential and ridiculously patient teachers at Mt Lebanon highschool. To Carol, his wife, I send my deepest sympathy. His impact on me and my classmates was indeed great. And I regret that I cannot attend the funeral ceremonies. Please celebrate his life, as he was a genuine, dedicated teacher. God bless you in your time of need.

I had the distinct pleasure of being a student in Mr. Gurley's last German class at Mt. Lebanon. He was a wonderful teacher and I and my friends who were also Mr. Gurley's students cherish the memories of having him as a teacher. Mr. Gurley was kind and inspirational and will be missed. My deepest sympathies are with his family and friends.
