W.T. Lummus Obituary

March 20, 2016/Graveside services for W. T. (Tommy) Lummus, 89, of Nacogdoches will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 22, 2016, in the Blue Springs Cemetery in Etoile with Pam Burnette officiating. Mr. Lummus was born July 26, 1926, in Leon County and died March 20, 2016, at a Nacogdoches nursing center. He was a farmer who loved to work. He also enjoyed hunting and fishing. Survivors include his wife of 59 years, Shirley (Burnette) Lummus; son, Tommy Gene Lummus; daughter, Susie Mosley; sons and daughters-in-law, Danny Paul & Teresa Lummus and James & Katty Lummus; David Glynn Lummus; grandchildren, Bobby (Bo) Mosley; Sabrina Mosley, Holly Lummus, Tommy (Mac) Lummus, John Lummus, Danielle Christopher and husband (Andrew), Dakota Lummus, Dustin Lummus; great grandson, William Christopher; numerous nieces and nephews, other relatives and a host of friends. In addition to his parents, Mr. Lummus was preceded in death by 3 sisters and a brother. Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. tonight, March 21, 2016, at the Bald Hill Church of Christ, Lufkin. Snead Linton Funeral Home; Lufkin directors.
