Dad
Even though we didn't see each other on a regular basis, I always knew that I could call on you at any time for any thing. I'm so glad that I was there with you in your last few months on this earth. Spending that time with you reassured me that you were at peace with your life. I love you and know I will see you again one day. I will miss you and that angelic voice you have. There will never be another voice like my dad's.
Love your daughter

Daddy, It's still hard to believe you're gone. I miss calling you and hearing your soothing voice on the other end. Some say they can't stand to listen to you sing on your CD but I'm thankful to God that I can still hear your voice minister God's praises. After all, that was and is part of your purpose for being in the earth. We prayed for God to manifest your healing on this side but He saw fit to allow total healing on the other side. He is sovreign and I give Him all of the glory and will forever proclaim that He is Jehovah Rapha, God, our Healer! You are gone but never forgotten. We will take care of Mrs Ethel for you for I know you would have it no other way. I Love you and I'll meet you on the other shore.

Wayne Dedrick,
He was a brother-in-law that you could count on. He would come to your rescue in a heartbeat. I will miss that sideway smile and how he used to aggravate my mother. His voice was a gift from God. Many people loved to hear him sing. I loved him very much and I am happy that he doesn't have to suffer anymore. I guess Wayne, I.C. and the other original Daytonians are singing together, "Search Heaven Over" and "Mercy, Mercy". We all loved him, but God loved him more.
To Ethel, just trust in the Lord and he'll see you through.

Daddy,
You were my best friend, my shoulder to cry on, my inspiration, my confidant and most of all the greatest DAD a girl could have. I will always be "Daddy's Baby Girl" Losing you was the greatest pain I have ever felt in my life, and I feel like I won't make it through this battle....I will never ever forget you and your memories will live on in my heart. The day I lost you I lost a large chunk of my heart that will never be replaced by anyone or anything.
Thank you for sharing your heart your time and your wonderful life with me. I am only who I am today because of you Daddy.

I only met Mr. Dedrick when his son Kenny gave his 1st sermon, but I could immediately tell that he loved his children dearly but most of all he loved The Lord. May you all find the strength and comfort that is available to us all through Jesus Christ.

Granddaddy,
I am blessed that you are my grandfather. I enjoyed our time together when I drove you to Winchester, TN to be with the family. Thank you for all the times you listened to me and gave me advice. Our special relationship will be cherished forever. I know you are in heaven singing God's praises and waiting for us to join you.

To Ethel and family and The Daytonians. Words cannot be expressed to share the sense of loss in the passing of a dear friend. It was always a joy to be around Wayne, as we called him, and the rest of the group and family.
He and his voice and the way he would moan in his songs will be greatly missed.
