Sad to hear of the news, but looking forward to seeing Oli's dad in Heaven singing the beautiful hymns he composed in his glorious tenor voice, handsome and happy (I2 Cor 5:1). Blessings and warm comfort to Oli and her mom.

I still remember fondly & vividly my social chat over dinner with Mr Chow, his wife and Son-in-law Jack Layton years ago. A very smart, friendly & humble man.
Much have been said & written about his poetry & musical talents. Thanks to his other passion for life & love, he provided this world with his greatest life achievement & creation : his beloved daughter Olivia. For that, I salute you and I know you are satisfied & will no doubt Rest In Peace.
Love,
Joe NG

Remembering Uncle Chow Wai Sun:
We considered him to be the "Chai Tze" the man of talents, among my parents' close friends. He was very handsome, he was educated, he could speak English fluently (not v common for his generation in HK). He could sing in Chinese, English, as well as Italian Operas, and he also played several musical instruments too. I could remember one time as a young child, I followed my parents to a concert in the Music hall of the then new HK City Hall. We saw uncle walked on stage with his musical instrument, dressed in his formal tuxedo. We all clapped loud, and our family mentioned how smart and handsome he looked afterwards.
When we met again in Toronto, we had the privilege to hear him singing at our home after dinners. One fond memory was him singing " Hung Chai Mai Mai " at our home. What a brilliant baritone, and also projecting so loud and far ! He became a Christian and attended church regularly, even until he was too weak to come on his own. He was a devoted and loving father to Olivia, and he loved his wife dearly.
May the fond memories of him always make him close. May the knowledge that he is with the Lord comfort the family.
