I think flowers are smiles from God! Frank your dad provided all of us many smiles with his flower gardens. He is with the Lord with tour mom and we shall see him again.

Steve, a lover of flowers, was insistent the focal stained glass window of the new White Marsh Baptist Church sanctuary contain three white lilies symbolic of the triune God whom he loved and worshipped. Steve got his wish. Whenever I enter White Marsh 's sanctuary and look at that window I remember Steve. -Matt Sadowski

We will miss your dad, our friend and brother in Christ, and want to convey our sincere condolences to you. He and your mom were a neat couple and we always enjoyed visiting with them. Steve would show us what flowers were doing well and Margaret would show our kids all the types of flowers and vegetables they were growing. Your dad told it like it was; I liked that. As you grieve his passing, remember too the promises of Christ and that your dad is forever healed and in His Glory.

We'll miss Steve and sharing with him at church dinners. He blessed so many with gifts from his incredible gardens. That sweet gruffness was a cover for such a beautiful heart! Mr. Stevanus ("Steve" as we knew him) was a regular in our Senior Adult Sunday School at White Marsh Baptist Church and he will be missed. His love for growing flowers was only surpassed by his love for his Lord. Know that the family will be in our thoughts and prayers as they grieve their loss.
