Walker Gentry Obituary
Walker James Gentry, cherished infant son of Daniel LeGrande Gentry and Amanda Jane Bowen Gentry, was born an Angel on February 8, 2023, at Mountain View Hospital in Idaho Falls. He returned to be with his twin.
Walker was born at 34 weeks and 2 days at 6:31 p.m., he weighed 7lbs 1oz, and was 19.5 inches long. He was absolute perfection with a head full of dark hair, the chubbiest little cheeks, and a perfect little nose.
Walker is loved immensely and survived by his dad and mom, Daniel and Amanda Gentry of Rigby, two big brothers Hunter and Cooper Gentry, Grandparents, Todd and Tami Bowen, Tina and Dave Beavers of North Salt Lake, Utah, Great Grandparents Gary and Judy Krueger of Ammon, James Sherman of North Salt Lake, Utah, Diane Burnett of Arizona, and many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Walker is preceded in death by his Great Grandpa and Grandma Bowen, Great Grandma Sherman, Great Grandpa Burnett, and cousin, Taelor Richards.
Private graveside service will be held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, February 18, 2023. The family will receive family and friends prior to the graveside from 1:30 p.m. until the time of service at the Eckersell Memorial Chapel. Luncheon to follow the graveside service for family and friends at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (602 Sundance Rigby ID 83442)

Walker James is such a bright light, here for a brief moment in time but touched so many lives with his quick journey. We can’t thank you enough for sharing him with us all. Your love for him is so evident, and your brokenness in your goodbye is felt deeply by those surrounding you. Walker knows true, deep, forever love by being a Gentry. My heart is completely shattered. We all looked forward to Walker being a part of the family and helping us all heal from our previous losses. I love him so very much and know he is surrounded by loving family doting on him and showering him with affection. Daniel, Amanda, Hunter and Cooper, please know that I pray for you every day and love you all so much. All of the family on both sides will gather and unite to get through this huge loss.
