He was preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth Ballard; two brothers and four sisters.
He is survived by his son, Charles Ballard (Marketta), of Leitchfield, KY; two daughters, Connie Moyer (Jeff), of North Carolina and Judy Johnson (Stanley), of Hardinsburg, KY; brother, Joseph Ballard of Louisville; grandchildren, Christy, Trevor, Kyra, Madison, Candice, Shelia, Scotty and Felecia; three great-grandchildren; and two loving brothers-in-law, Martin Stout (Angie), of McDaniels, KY and Phil Norwood (Linda), of Ohio.
Cremation was chosen. He will be laid to rest in Fairview Methodist Cemetery, Hudson, KY. Arrangements by Rodgers-Awkard & Lyons, 951 S. Preston St.
