Sorry to hear of Walt's passing. He was such a gentle soul and so full of life. It was always a pleasure being around him at Mountain View Bowl. He was one heck of a good bowler!

Our deepest condolences..

Remembering many years of seeing Walt at Mountain View Bowl on Tuesday nights and Wednesday afternoons, and Walt hosting me at Pioneer Acres, with rides on an old Rumley or one of his restored tractors. I know he missed Edna every day after her passing, and now they are reunited in heaven.

Uncle Walt was a hardworking, thoughtful, and generous person who always thought of and helped anyone in need of a 'helping hand'. He loved his family & friends, but wasn't to be challenged at the game of 'horseshoes'as he usually won.

Ted couldn't have said it better. Walt was the hardest working and one of the most dedicated members of Pioneer Acres and a friend to all. It was a privilege to know him and Edna. My whole family mourns the loss of a good friend.

Our Deepest sympathy to your families on the passing of a great friend and person. Walt always had a story to tell and hand to lend when something needed to be done around Pioneer Acres. Our family was blessed to have been friends of Walt and Edna from the conception of Pioneer Acres with our parents being founding members. Many stories and laughs could be heard in the evenings coming from the travel trailers after another successful show day and always looked forward to hearing Walt's Yodelling at the wrap up party around the fire at Langdon Corner and later in Women's world building at Irricana . Walt was a fine Gentleman and will be missed. I know he is happy to be " Home" with Edna again.
