I just heard the very sad news from the Pitinis. Please accept my condolences.

Dear Mrs. Bleil and Daughters,

News of Walter's passing just got to me. I knew Walter as "Chip" (we were "Chip & Dale" like the cartoon characters) when we grew up together on Bon Aire Drive between 1959 and 1968.

Even though you may have no idea who I am please accept my condolences on your loss of Walter.

I just learned of Walt's passing over the weekend. If you remember, we sat in front of you at the symphony for many years. Walt was a gem, a great attorney, but a better human being. We were very sorry to hear about Walt. Whenever we think of him, we always remember him with a smile on his face, full of laughter and with such a positive aura around him. We know he is in a better place now but we'll truly miss him.

I knew Walter in high school and college. He was so very vital, remarkably keen and confident! Catholic and catholic... It sounds as if he lived his adult life fully and richly. I am sorry for his passing; he was a light in the world. God keep you.

Walt was a gracious gentlman with demonstrated passionate leadership. He always wore a smile and spoke encouraging kind words to many of us. So sorry for your loss. May your memories and friends bring comfort to you in the times ahead.

My deepest sympathy and my prayers are with Walt's family. I knew Walt from Reed Smith and he was one of the nicest people I knew. He always had a smile (and a smart comment!) for me. Please know that your husband, dad, brother, uncle, etc. was well-loved by all who knew him. Again, my prayers are with your during this difficult time.

I was so saddened to hear of Walts passing. Actually I was just thinking about him the other day. I knew him from Costanzos. We used to talk about different types of music all of the time. He did have an amazing CD collection. I remember when he told me that he got rid of all of his vinyl records and I just couldn't believe it. I still tell people about that to this day. My most sincere condolences to Terri and the girls. Terri I met you once a long time ago at Constanzos. I'm so terribly sorry. Even though I hadn't seen him in a very long time I've thought about him often and I will miss him.

I am extremely sorry to hear of the loss of my uncle, Walt Bleil. My deepest regards go out to the entire Bleil family, and to all of those who knew Uncle Walt. He will be missed by us all.

I was shocked and saddened to hear of Uncle Walt's death. It will be the little things that you will remember...the quiet moments, the smiles, the laughter, (and his amazing cd collection!!!) Although it may seem hard right now, it will be the memories of these little things that will help to push away the pain and bring back your smiles again! I knew him through Reed Smith, and he always had a smile and a kind word for his co-workers. My sincere condolences to Terri, Lisa, Jessica and Beth and the rest of Walt's family. I was truly shocked and very, very sad to hear of Walt's passing. My thoughts and, more importantly, my prayers are with all of you during this very sad time. I have very fond memories of Walt -- he was my very first boss when I started working as a legal secretary at Reed Smith. At 19, I was fresh out of business school and, upon gaining employment at Reed Smith, was assigned to work for Walt -- and continued to work for him for the next 14 years. He was one of the nicest people I have had the opportunity to work for. Please take comfort in knowing that Walt is in the best place he can be -- with our Almighty God in heaven. Again, my sincere sympathy for your loss.
