It is with great saddness to read of Mr. Conley's passing. When I was growing up, my Mother and brother and I attended Euclid and Mr. Conley had always taken and interest in our family. Upon the passing of my father, Mr. Conley was the only person to come to his viewing and I will always be grateful for his kindness. Euclid's membership has lost a fine person and loyal member. My sympathy goes out to his entire family.

Dear Dot:

We will always remember Walter as a very loyal Democrat and for the work he did for our Party over the years and his expertise in the office he held.

I remember the fun we had on our trips.

Our sympathy to you at this time.

We had the privilege of working with Mr. Conley in the Education Dept. when he was a volunter at Bristol Regional Medical Center. He was such a delightful person to work with and he was as dedicated to his work as a volunteer as he would have been if he were being paid. We very much appreciate all he did for us & we cherish the memories we have of spending time with him. It was very clear that his wife was truly his sweetheart.
Our sympathy goes out to all his loved ones,
Sherry Allen, Jane Berke, Vickie Boatman & Marty McKinney

Walter was always an unassuming role model, a steadfast supporter, and an encouraging friend from having known him and Dot through Euclid Avenue Baptist Church. We cherish fond memories of their enthusiastic reception on occasional visits in their home over the years. Walter lived life to the fullest. We salute him and convey our condolences to Dorothy and their extended family.

Mrs Conley and other family members
Walter has gone to a place where the roses never fade. I got to know Walter well when I was the Pastor of the Bradley Street Baptist Church. We rode together to the Lebanon Baptist Association Meetings in Abingdon. He was a exemplery Christian and I am fortunate that I had the privilege to cross his path while here in the land of the living. I am looking forward to seeing my brother in Christ again in Heaven.
