I have been blessed to have known Walter G.Donaldson all my life. He was my Grand-daddy.I always called him Grand-daddy and he called me Amy D.
I was fortunate enough to have been close enough by miles the last 4-5yrs to visit him on a regular basis.I got to know him even better as an adult. He told me millions of stories of his life growing up and about my Grand-Mother their story is a true Love story that I will never forget!! I learned a lot about what life was like for most in the 1920's and how much life has changed since then.I learned a lot about my family and myself through his wise and loving stories.I am very thankful for the time I had with my Grand-daddy and I will truly miss him and always remember him and my Grand-Mother.
