WALTER ORR, MD
On Sat., Dec. 28, 2002; beloved husband of the late Lucille G. Goehring; father of Walter Orr Goehring II of McCandless, Robert Warren Goehring of O'Hara Twp and Thomas James Goehring of Concord, CA; grandfather of seven; great-grandfather of one. Dr. Goehring was a respected Surgeon at the former Columbia and Passavant Hospitals for over 50 years. Friends received at MCCABE BROS., INC., FUNERAL HOME, 6214 Walnut St., Shadyside, on Monday 2-4 & 7-9 pm. Interment private. A Memorial Service will be held at Longwood at Oakmont at a later date.

We had several occasions to be with Dr.Goehring on our trips back to Pa.
He was the epitome of a gentleman and a kind and gentle person. He will be sorely missed by his family and all who were fortunate enough to know him.

Dr Goehring was my mentor. He will always be remembered as a kind, soft spoken, extremely talented man, who helped countless people. We all will miss him.

We are all saddened by the passing of Dr. Goehring. We are neighbors of Tom and Sue Goehring and when their daughter, Amy, graduated from high school, Doctor and Mrs. Goehring came for a visit and we had the pleasure of meeting them both.
We know that this is a very difficult time, but know that our thoughts and prayers are with you and your families in this time of sadness.

I am very saddened to read of the passing of Dr. Goehring. He saved me from cancer fifteen years ago and treated me and my parents, sisters and brothers for many, many years, and always with the greatest concern. My condolences to his family.
