God bless you Walter. You were always such a kind and gentle man. Now that you are flying with the angels, you can look down and watch over Shiela. We will take good care of her. May you rest in peace, my friend. Till we meet again.

Writing again bc I´m bad with tech and bc I don´t remember what I wrote earlier. Didn´t want to leave out some things on my mind. We said goodbye a long time ago but that doesn´t make this any easier. Thank you for letting me grow up a tomboy when all the other girls cared about makeup and dresses. For teaching me the magic and precision of the 3 point shot. For all the McDonalds Sundays my senior year where we would always order supersized number 2´s with Hamburgers...of course! Your mantras of "don´t let the turkeys get to you" and "keep plugging" have served me well up until grad school and they´ll never be forgotten. I can´t cure alz for you and pop pop but I can go back to work and help. I hope they´re playing Meet Joe Black on the big screen as much as you want. Proud you are my dad. I love you....I love you.
Father, husband, brother, veteran, friend to many, creator of smiles.

I love you Dad. You have left a hole in our hearts for a very long time time now. Mine is broken and I will never be the same. I´m sorry your life was cut so short by a disease so devastating. I will never stop fighting for you and pop pop. Someone will eradicate this undeserving illness.

I will remember dancing around the living room, taking long walks, and taking him to get his tattoo. I will remember the silly nicknames he gave my friends growing up, drawing "artwork" to hang up in his apartment, and his egg-in-the-hole breakfast. I will remember painting birdhouses, watching the Stones, and dancing at my wedding.
My dad had a rich and full life and I was so lucky to be a part of it. c
