There are so many messages in the Lakeland Fl legacy. Also many from me. Somehow Id forgotten about this one. Your much loved Vt and Ive posted so much on Florida site. Its Saturday, our favorite day down here to socialize. Am Vets, the Elks, Dunedin, Madeira Beach, the list goes on. The weather beautiful in Shelburne. Jeff applying mulch, and said hes working around the yard. He misses you.. And I miss you

My dearest friend, not a day goes by that I do not think of you. I cannot thank you for always having my six. I will try to live out the rest of my life in a way that honors our friendship and the Ernest desire to be an example of what good men do. I can say with out reservation,that you were one of the smartest,kindest most gentle men I have known in my life. When I take that final flight,I will be looking for you.My God guard you untill then. Walt you've accomplished so much. You started in Vt. Went to Ft Lauderdale Fl Too many awards and accomplishments to mention. Left there as Director of Aviation. Taught at Embreriddle Taught at Mc Dill Air Base. On and on it goes. You touched so many lives. Vermont, Florida, and only God knows where. You lived a life of passion. We put you to rest yesterday, June 8, 2019 An honorable graveside service. Many people. Many people shed tears . walt, you were loved by many people I only wish you knew just how loved you were .
