I worked with Walter during his years in the fire service, always calm collected and knowledgeable in his job and open to suggestions from all agencies, a good man gone too soon! Our prayers are with his family!

Lyn, We did not get to know your Walter but he must have been an incredible man. You have shown such love and joy to have shared your life with Walter. We will pray for your peace and comfort in the days and months ahead. Love to you

From old engine 7 thru the snorkel house, any time spent with Walter went by fast and was always entertaining, life will always be a mystery filled with unexpected pleasure. I saw Walter numerous times at the HERA meetings. He always seemed to be of good spirit. I fought cancer too and know that it is a tough battle. Only God knows why some beat cancer and others succumb to it, but we lost a good person and a fighter in Walter. May God bless Walter's family. My prayers are with you!
