Walter Lane Jr. Obituary
Wally was a kind, generous and thoughtful soul and will be missed and remembered by the many lives he touched. He was an avid bowler for many years, traveling the country by car as he didn't enjoy flying, bowling in various tournaments. He loved his cigars and watching old Western shows and the Weather channel. He also enjoyed his weekly card games with his friends. Wally worked at A.O. Smith as a welder and crane operator until he retired at age 62.
Walter was preceded in death by his parents, Walter R. Lane Sr. and Grace Lane; and sister, Esther.
He is survived by his significant other, Vicki Scott; sons; Daniel (Bonnie), Robert (Beth), Steven (Laura), and Nickolis (Vicki); eight grandchildren, Sasha, Logan, Addison, Will, Samantha, Zoe, Jayden, Makenzie; one great grandson, Ben; brothers, John and Myron; and sister, Deborah. He is further survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
A celebration of life will be held April 22, 2023, at 2:30pm at Pioneer Bowl, 1801 WI-175, Richfield, WI 53076.

Wally, you have been a part of my life since the very beginning. It does not feel real that you are gone. Thank you for being the best big brother and being there for me when I needed you the most. You were my safe shelter. Thank you for walking me down the isle and taking me in when I was in college and almost could not make it on my own. You are missed beyond words. Love you brother.
