DR. WALTER CLAYTON MCCOY

I loved Walter´s devotion to D´Anne, his church, and medicine. My favorite memory of him, and there are many, is of him always carrying D´Anne´s purse for her as she walked to the car. He was always a gentleman! And he always made you know he appreciated you.

Dr. McCoy's kindness and generosity, and his sweet nature will be truly missed. Please accept our sincere and heartfelt condolences.

Dr. McCoy was a doctor I will always remember when I began my nursing career at St. Vincent's. He always had his black bag and a smile on his face and a quip to share. He really loved and cared for his patients and was a true testimony to the career he chose.

Walter was very kind, friendly and helpful to this young doctor starting out in practice in Birmingham many years ago. His family should be proud to say that they grew up knowing such a fine gentleman. I'm sure he will be missed.
