Very sorry to hear about Wally i would of liked to attend his funeral but unfortunately have only just heard.

Wally gave me a start as an apprentice 30 years ago which i was very appreciative of and went on to become a successful builder myself. He was very proactive in giving young people a go and was a very well respected boss and Builder. One thing that sticks in my mind was he and I where working on a roof together in Melton he was 69 then.
