Mr. Nannie was a great man with a beautiful sense of humor. May God always cloud your tears with the joy of his life on earth.

My sweet and handsome Sir Walter...I love you and miss you. "Why are you so downcast oh my soul? Keep your hope in the Lord..." May the strenght and peace of the Lord Jesus fill our hearts and may we be reminded daily that while our bodies retun to dust our spirit soars like an Eagle into the arms of our Lord Jesus Christ who defeated death. You are home with Him now, and we will all be together again someday. Hug Jesus for me! Love you always Sir Walter...Millie

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow. Walter hired me for the Health Department in 1985. He was and is a good friend.

Walt will be missed very much at Coiffures Salon....we enjoyed seeing him every week, drinking his coffee, reading the paper and chatting with all of us. Thoughts and prayers to all of you.

Walter was my good friend and co-worker for several years at the Division of Food and General Sanitation, Tennessee Department of Public Health. We enjoyed an excellent working relationship and shared many good laughs together. He was a good technical resource for solving work related problems. While employed at the Division he developed and implemented an excellent method of quality assurance for the Tennessee Food Service Establishment Inspection Program. He was very much respected among his staff and peers.
