Scott, Stacy forwarded me this facebook message. Know that you and your family are in our thoughts and prayers. What a great void to your Mom and family. Sent you another message a few minutes ago, but being as illiterate as we are about computers, I am not sure I sent it. Anyway, just wanted to make sure that you know that we have thought about you many, many times during the last few years, and know that we love and respect you more than you will ever know. Love, Sue and Charlie Murphree

Sonya,

I was saddened to learn of the loss of Wayne. I regret that prevailing circumstances prevented me from attending his funeral.
I shall be in Anniston next week and had planned to visit Wayne one evening, having not seen him since last June.

I am proud to have had him as a member of our G. H. S. Class of '52.

It is my hope and my prayer that countless fond memories of times past will help to serve as a comfort to you and your three children at this time.

My heart and prayers are with all of you. Wayne, a dear friend for 50+years is at peace and whole again. God has healed him by bringing him home. My fondest memories are of listening to his hilarious jokes at our Supper Club tables. He was a wonderful friend to Joe and me. In our last years as couples, we had several nice trips to Mentone, etc. to eat supper. Those are wonderful memories. We have all marveled at the faithful caregiver that Sonya has been. I will be there for her in the coming days. Nancy Smith
