Walter Ramsdell

Surrounded by his loved ones, Wally Ramsdell left this world on April 26, 2025 at the age of 54. To love, honor and remember a man who meant so much to so many-our beloved Father, Brother, Son, Grandfather, and Uncle Wally.

Wally was more than just all these things ; he was a constant presence, a steady hand, and a warm heart. He had a quiet strength that didn't need to be announced. His laughter could light up a room, and his kindness reached far beyond the walls of his home. Whether it was through a joke, a story, or just sitting silently beside you when words weren't enough, Wally had a way of making people feel safe and seen. While we mourn the loss of his physical presence, we carry him with us in memory, in tradition, and in the quiet moments that remind us he is still here in spirit. Wally's legacy is one of love, laughter, and unwavering support. His was a life well-lived and deeply loved.

Wally left behind two daughters, Britney Ramsdell and Katie Smith, along with his grandson Alexander Smith, siblings, Troy Ramsdell, Kevin Ramsdell, Jaime Mcinnis and his mother Patrica Ramsdell. Wally is predeceased by his father Walter "Rufus" Ramsdell and his nephews Dylan Mcinnis and Dustin Ramsdell.

Family and friends are invited to a service to honor Wally on May 9, 2025 at 1pm at the United Baptist Church, 89 Middle Street, Old Town, ME.
