Walter Stuckless Obituary
Our time on earth is brief; the number of our days is already decided by you. Every man has been allotted a number of days here on earth. Job 14:5
On October 27, 2022, Walter Stuckless went home to be with the Lord at 79 years of age.
He leaves to mourn his loving wife of 56 years Margaret Sybil Stuckless (nee Pye), his daughters Kimberley Duclos (Donald) and Beverley Stuckless (Norman). His grandchildren Jacob Duclos (Jackie Belonzo), Jayde Bloy (Andrew), Jesse Duclos (Sara), and Lewckas Stuckless. His great-grandchildren Anastasia Duclos, Cambria & Fiona Bloy, Raymond & Lily Duclos. Brothers Alfred, Jerry (Patricia) and Lewis (Theresa). Sisters Faye (Ford) and Naomi (Carl). Not to mention his many friends and church family. Pre-deceased by parents Isaac & Gertrude. Brothers Frank, William, Robert, Rolland and Carl. Sisters Ethel, May, Rebecca, Lillian and Goldie.
The family will be receiving family and friends at Parsons Funeral Home & Chapel 63 North Main Street, Deer Lake, NL, on Monday, October 31st, 2022, from the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 pm.
The funeral service will take place on Tuesday, November 1st, 2022, at 2:00 pm from The Emmanuel Pentecostal Church, on Bennett Ave, Deer Lake, NL, with Pastor Jeffrey White officiating with the burial to follow at the Pentecostal section of the Deer Lake Interdenominational Cemetery on Wight’s Road, Deer Lake, NL.

I enjoyed Walter & Marg's friendship greatly during his stay at Whalley Lake at Magnetawan,Ont. and missed him immensely when he moved back to Newfoundland. We would chat occasionally on the telephone after that. I was sad to hear of his passing.

To Margaret and Family, we were so heartbroken to hear of Walts passing. I will always remember the time he gave his heart to the Lord. And watching such a Beautiful transformation in his Life. I will always think of his Smile and Gentle Way. And What a Wonderful Night it was when he got Baptized. God honoured your Faithfulness Margaret. Heaven is so much Sweeter now He's there. Dear Margaret, I’m standing here trying to find the works to express my feelings we are so sorry for your heartbreak and we know your faith is strong and you’ll be reunited with your incredible hubby one day. He meant so much to so many and we sure love and miss both of you. We all know he loved our Christopher like his own. Margaret, I’m so sorry to hear of Walter’s passing. I still remember when Walter gave his heart to the Lord a number of years ago and the excitement that came with that. After you prayed for him for many years, he had finally surrendered His life to Christ! It is always a reminder that God is faithful and does answer prayer! Although there will be some tough days ahead as you mourn the loss of your beloved husband, thankfully you don’t have to mourn as those without any hope! As God was faithful to you in the past, He will be faithful to you in the days ahead to be your peace, comfort and strength! My thoughts and prayers are with you.
