Walter Thompson Obituary

WALTER K. THOMPSON, JR., 78, entered into rest June 17, 2004 with his wife and daughters at his side. He was born October 2, 1925 to parents, Florence and Walter K. Thompson, Sr. As W.K.T., Daddy and Paw Paw, his main contribution was providing for and protecting his family. He dutifully served as a medic overseas in WWII. He was employed as a Director of Purchases in metal fabrication at the Metal Goods Company, Metal Arts Company and retired from SMS, Inc. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Alla Mae; daughters, Peggy Rusciano, and Donna Pitchford and her husband, Gary; grandchildren, Keri Duggan, Brandon Beaver, Jared Rusciano and his fiancé, Angelina Catalano and Paw Paw's boys, Ty and Clay Duggan; brother, George Thompson and his wife Nina and numerous nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the funeral home after 4:00 p.m. Sunday. Funeral services, 10:30 a.m. Monday, June 21, 2004 in the Chapel of the Angels of Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery. Interment to follow, Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery. Marriage Blessing; "May he be blessed with the love of his children's children. Paw Paw was blessed with the love of his children's children's children. We love you".
