We loved our "Gingerbread Man"; what a gift it was to know Walt. Thursday night classes won't be the same without his generosity, wit, and creative input. A part of us goes with you, Walt. You will live in our hearts forever.

Joyce:
My wife called me this morning to tell me of Walt's passing. I enjoyed working with Walt at Hill's and sharing stories of General Foods. He had so much knowledge and experience in the Pet Food business. Our prayers go out to you and the extended family.

Becky and I were very sad to learn that Walt had passed on. He was always good to me and my family and will be remembered as a sincere and generous man. My boys will alway remember his cheese cake, it was the "best" ! His positive attitude over the last two years is testament to his good nature and his optimistic look to the future.
He will be missed by friends and family. He was a good man.

Joyce, I never had the pleasure of meeting Walt but I felt I knew him through our many conversations. I can hear you laughing over the different projects he had going at the house and never knowing what changes you would walk into at the end of your work day. My thoughts and prayers are with you and the family.

My thoughts and prayers are with you, I know it has been a rough past few years. Walt is where there is no worries and no pain. Take care of yourself.

I'm sorry for your loss. I worked with Walt in Kankakee, Il. I was playing golf with him when he shot his hole-in-one at the Elks Club Golf Course. We played many games of pool together.

Joyce, My thoughts and prayers are with you. I enjoyed Walt's fun with collecting and will never forget the look on his face when he won that huge train....and of course I will never see a marble in my life and not think of him.

My deepest sympathy goes out to Aunt Joyce and all those that were impacted by his death. Uncle Walter was never a selfish person, even during his time of sickness he was thinking of others. He was loved by many and will never be forgotten..through his memories he will live on..

Some of my favorite memories of beach week are because of Uncle Walter. Running around the island in tacky tourist costumes; competing in the beach olympics in togas; and especially the grinch for Christmas in July. I'm so grateful to be able to have those moments to cherish and remember with my family. He was a kind, generous and loving uncle who will always be missed.

So sorry to hear of Walts passing. I remember how much he enjoyed the games of golf and cards at the club, and the cameraderie of his many friends there. We will all miss him.

I'm sorry to hear about the death of Mr. Waida. I knew him as a fellow gingerbread creator, a worthy competitor at TPAC's annual display. His family will be in my thoughts and prayers.
