Wanda L. Harrell, age 80, of Russellville, passed away Friday, March 2, 2018, at St. Vincent Infirmary in Little Rock. She was born October 17, 1937, in Point Peter, Arkansas, to Homer James and Walsie McCutchen Albritton. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Hamilton Harrell; and two brothers, Dale Albritton and Jim Albritton. She was a vice president of Federal Savings and Loans and her grandchildren were her pride and joy. She was a Christian and enjoyed reading her daughter's articles in the Heart Beat Magazine of the Christian Motorcyclists Association, and was an avid Razorback fan. Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, John A. and Cindy Harrell of Russellville; a daughter, Chari Harrell of Maumelle; two brothers and sister-in-law, Eldon Short of California and Eutah and Susan Short of Missouri; a sister, Genevieve Morris of Harrison; two grandchildren, Dustin Harrell of Russellville and Chanda Harrell of Tennessee; numerous nieces, nephews and a special aunt, Ferne Shinn Anderson. The funeral service will be at 1:00 p.m., Monday, March 5, 2018, at the Shinn Chapel with the Rev. Holli Roberts officiating. Burial will be in Rest Haven Memorial Park under the direction of Shinn Funeral Service of Russellville. The family will receive friends from 12:30 p.m., until service time at the chapel on Monday. Memorials may be made to Christian Motorcyclists Association-RFS, P.O. Box 9, Hatfield, Arkansas 71945. The online obituary and guestbook are available at www.shinnfuneral.com.
