Wanda Mary (Zawadski) Tobin, age 80 of Auburn, formerly of Maynard, passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 2, 2021 surrounded by her loving family. Born in Maynard, on January 22, 1941, Wanda was the daughter of the late Sergius and Mary (Szczerzenia) Zawadski. Wanda was raised and educated in Maynard, graduating with the class of 1958. Wanda was the co-owner of Donut Land and Dick's Pizza and Spaghetti House on Nason Street in Maynard. Following the success of these establishments, Wanda became an electronic assembler creating components used in equipment launched into space until she retired at age 65. Family was most important to Wanda. She loved spending time with her grandchildren. Wanda enjoyed gardening and crafts. Wanda is survived by her children, Richard P. Tobin and wife Linda M. Dee of Westford, Karen A. Terranova of Hudson, Scott M. Tobin and wife Nancy of Clinton, her cherished grandchildren, Kristine A. Babeu, Andrea E. Tobin, Michael A. Terranova, Brian E. Terranova, Kaitlyn E. Tobin and Matthew C. Tobin, sister, Jennie Kaminski of Lynn Haven, FL and many nieces and nephews. Wanda was predeceased by her brother Joseph J. Zawadski and sister Katherine Discher. Her Graveside service will be celebrated on Friday, September 10, 2021 at 10:30 am in Saint Bridget Cemetery, Great Road, Maynard, MA 01754. I did not meet Wanda, though I was told of her colorful life as an entrepreneur and one who lived life her way. She made a positive impression on all who new herand there can be no better compliment to a life well lived.
May God embrace her Soul as she sleeps in eternal peace.
