November 3, 1942 - January 25, 2025

Wanda Lou Willingham, born on November 3, 1942, in Pawnee, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully on January 25, 2025, in Florence, Oregon.

Wanda was preceded in death by her parents Oliver Samuel and Beulah Mae Larimore, along with her two brothers and sister.

Wanda graduated from Wasco High School in 1960. On August 19, 1961, she married her childhood sweetheart, James H. Willingham, Jr., beginning a beautiful journey together. As a devoted military wife, Wanda embraced the adventure of traveling throughout Europe while stationed in Germany, famously on $10 a day for the family.

She is lovingly remembered by her husband James, children Janey (Don) and David (Katherine); her grandchildren Christopher, Kate, Michael (Ashley), Karen, Brandon (Kasidi), Spencer (Katrina), Kassidy (JD), and Colin; as well as her ten great-grandchildren.

Wanda was deeply cherished for her kindness, generosity, and compassion. She volunteered for many years at the Caring Pregnancy Center in Florence. She found great joy in caring for her family and cooking wonderful meals that brought loved ones together. Her faith was central to her life, and she was an active member of the First Baptist Church in Florence, Oregon, where she treasured her church family and her relationship with the Lord.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, January 31, 2025, at 3:00 p.m. at Pacific Sunset Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Wanda's memory to the First Baptist Church of Florence, P.O. Box 56, Florence, OR 97439.
