I still am saddened that I didn't get to visit him this past year. Ward played a big role in my life from seventh grade through high school and enjoyed working out with him at the health club. I have often wondered what happened to him as he seemed to be in good physical condition? Rest well my friend.

Although we were miles apart most of the time, the time we spent together was always our pleasure. Sending our prayers with love.

to the Stanton family, my deepest condolences. Ward was a great friend and mentor in my life. I remember our many rides to Harpursville together. Not only did he have a keen wit but had much wisdom in many areas of life. Will always remember him.

Mr Stanton was my coach from 7th grade through graduation and was always pushing us to give it all. In later years we worked out together at Planet Fitness and had great conversations. We will never forget him and will miss seeing him again.

Mr. Stanton was one of my most memorable teachers who I longed to visit well after graduation. He touched many lives through his excellence in teaching math (not always a favorite subject but sure was mine), and his coaching, and being senior class advisor. Rest well, dear teacher and wonderful human. Job well done. I am grateful that he attended a recent alumni luncheon where I got to speak with him and tell him how much influence he had on me. Deepest sympathy to his family.
